Job summary

Blue Cross North Carolina is seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead complex technology initiatives through planning, delivery, release, and post-implementation transition. You will coordinate Agile teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes while managing risks, dependencies, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.
• PMP/Agile/SAFe or related project management certification preferred.
• Experience leading complex technology projects and enterprise delivery initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology initiatives with integrated plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and release timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs for successful delivery outcomes.
• Maintain technical and product knowledge to anticipate delivery risks, support tradeoff discussions, and resolve blockers and dependencies.
• Identify, assess, track, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions with timely escalation and resolution.
