Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager to drive high-complexity initiatives in a state health plan environment. You will coordinate technical and business delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams and foster cross-functional alignment.

This remote, contract role focuses on healthcare payer initiatives such as claims and enrollment, with significant executive exposure and governance reporting. The rate is $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program management experience. Principal-level consideration for 10+ years.
• Healthcare payer domain experience such as health plan, insurance, TPA, PBM, claims, enrollment, or benefits administration.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams.
• History of leading large-scale, complex programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Demonstrated ownership of program integration and dependency management.
• Experience delivering high-visibility initiatives with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple high-complexity projects and programs, including concurrent workstreams.
• Serve as the technical coordination point across business and technology partners.
• Own integrated program plans, interdependencies, and risk management across workstreams.
• Ensure deliverables are produced, reviewed, and approved against agreed schedules.
• Manage resources from multiple delivery partners within approved hours and scope.
• Establish and run governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting.
• Mentor team members and foster a high-performing culture in a matrixed environment.
