Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager to lead high-complexity initiatives in a state health plan setting. You will coordinate technical and business delivery across multiple workstreams, align stakeholders, and ensure timely, quality outcomes.

The role involves healthcare payer initiatives such as claims, enrollment, and benefits administration with significant executive exposure and governance reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program management experience; principal-level consideration for 10+ years.
• Healthcare payer domain experience such as health plan, insurance, TPA, PBM, claims, enrollment, or benefits administration.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams.
• History of leading large-scale, complex programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Demonstrated ownership of program integration and dependency management.
• Experience delivering high-visibility initiatives with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple high-complexity projects and programs, including concurrent workstreams.
• Serve as the technical coordination point across business and technology partners.
• Own integrated program plans, interdependencies, and risk management across workstreams.
• Ensure deliverables are produced, reviewed, and approved against agreed schedules.
• Manage resources from multiple delivery partners within approved hours and scope.
• Establish and run governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting.
• Mentor team members and foster a high-performing culture in a matrixed environment.
