Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager to lead highly complex initiatives for a state health plan environment. This remote contract role coordinates technical and business delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams, driving cross-functional alignment and timely, quality outcomes.

You will manage governance forums, executive reporting, and risk across teams, with 5+ years in PM and healthcare payer domain.

Qualifications

5+ years of project/program management experience.
Healthcare payer domain experience such as health plan, claims, enrollment, or benefits.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams.
History of leading large-scale, complex programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
Experience delivering high-visibility initiatives with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multiple high-complexity projects and programs, including concurrent workstreams.
Serve as the technical coordination point across business and technology partners.
Own integrated program plans, interdependencies, and risk management across workstreams.
Ensure deliverables are produced, reviewed, and approved against agreed schedules.
Manage resources from multiple delivery partners within approved hours and scope.
Establish and run governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting.
Mentor team members and foster a high-performing culture in a matrixed environment.
