Job summary

Peraton Labs seeks a senior technical and strategic leader to be the primary customer-facing technical authority for a premier research program near College Park, MD. You will shape the platform roadmap, drive compliance-heavy initiatives, and ensure infrastructure and research enablement stay mission-ready.

You will guide technical strategy, lead cross-functional execution, and oversee high-priority engineering efforts at scale in a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• 25 years total experience with systems engineering leadership, or 20+ with degree substitution.
• Hands-on leader who can set strategy and drive execution in complex missions.
• Experience communicating risk and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical interface to the customer for strategy and roadmap alignment.
• Lead end-to-end architecture across classified and unclassified networks and cross-domain environments.
• Own delivery outcomes: availability, performance, compliance, and platform evolution.
• Guide certification, compliance initiatives, and secure baselines across multi-OS environments.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and manage subcontractor and customer delivery.
