Job summary

Peraton Labs seeks a poly cleared Senior Tech Lead – Cyber Systems Engineer to lead hands-on technical leadership for a complex environment of classified and unclassified systems. You will mentor cross-functional research, infrastructure, security, and software teams, interface directly with the customer, and direct subcontractor personnel to ensure mission-ready, resilient and compliant systems.

This on-site role near College Park, MD requires coordinating design, deployment, and security

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts (or 25 with substituted degree).
• 5+ years leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams; customer-facing experience.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration experience.
• Experience implementing security best practices.
• Proficiency in automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and execution across multi-domain environments.
• Lead cross-functional teams including subcontractors and customer interface.
• Support secure baselines, patching, config management.
• Oversee network and systems operations including zero trust patterns.
• Interface with customer to brief status, risks, architecture decisions.
• Drive RMF/NIST compliance and security posture improvements.
