Job summary

Skylight is seeking a Senior/Staff/Principal Technical Product Manager to lead modernization for U.S. Air Force programs.

You will own product direction for architectures, APIs, data systems, and multi-vendor environments, translating government needs into strategy, roadmap, and backlog while balancing technical tradeoffs with stakeholders. You'll partner with researchers, designers, engineers, and government partners in an agile setting, mentoring teams and applying AI-assisted workflows to

Qualifications

Understand lean product principles and how to apply them at various stages of the product life cycle.
Develop product strategy informed by the problem, prioritizing outcomes over features.
Break down scope into value chunks, maintain a prioritized backlog, and validate user stories.
Engage in human-centered design to inform product direction.
Manage clients and stakeholders to build trust and alignment.
Balance agile/lean methodologies with engineering tradeoffs.
Mentor, coach, and pair with government partners to sustain progress.
Experience on cross-functional teams in iterative delivery.
Work in a way that aligns with Skylight’s core values.

Responsibilities
