Skylight is a fully remote civically focused consultancy partnering with the U.S. Air Force to modernize legacy systems and deliver new capabilities in an agile environment.

As an Engagement Manager, you’ll own the client relationship, coordinate multiple teams and vendors, and shape account growth across this complex, government-facing engagement. You’ll guide delivery, align stakeholders, and coach teams toward self-organization while ensuring contract compliance and strategic proposals.

• Ability to build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with clients.
• Ability to grow Skylight’s business through business development activities.
• Cultivate team health within working teams and organizational settings.
• Ensure each project is staffed with appropriate personnel.
• Ensure teams are compliant with their contract’s terms and conditions.
• Strong stakeholder management in complex, multi-vendor environments.
• Mentor, coach, and pair with government partners to carry work forward.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams in iterative delivery.
• Align with Skylight’s core values.

Responsibilities

• Translate the client’s objectives into an engagement approach delivering value quickly.
• Build trust across client, partner vendors, and Skylight, aligning priorities and progress.
• Manage multiple projects using Scrum or Kanban in transformation efforts.
• Set up teams for delivery by removing obstacles and coaching to self-organization.
• Identify opportunities to expand Skylight’s work and shape proposals and renewals.
• Provide management- and team-level visibility into engagement status and health.
