Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead cloud and IT deployments for public safety customers. You’ll govern projects from kickoff to go-live, coordinating engineering, product, and implementation teams and ensuring produced solutions meet requirements across Axon 911.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years guiding global technical projects in B2B SaaS or cloud services, with strong IT infrastructure and cloud model knowledge, and readiness to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• PMP or CAPM certification required.
• 5+ years managing global technical projects in B2B SaaS/IT/cloud services.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through cloud or hybrid deployments.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical plans.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup culture with executive stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud-based platforms and go-live support.
• Coordinate with customers, partners and internal teams on deploys.
• Create and manage project and technical implementation plans.
• Align product capabilities with deployment requirements with DevOps and architects.
• manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure milestone delivery.
• Oversee handovers to customer IT and lead onboarding/training.
• Identify post-deployment needs for add-on services.
