Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead mission-critical cloud and IT deployments for public safety agencies across the United States. You will oversee projects from kickoff through go-live, coordinating technical and operational resources across Axon 911, partners, and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• PMP or CAPM certification required.
• 5+ years managing global technical projects (B2B SaaS, IT or cloud services).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through cloud/hybrid implementations.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure).
• Ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical plans.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud-based platforms from kickoff to go-live.
• Coordinate with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement scalable IT solutions for public safety.
• Create and manage project and technical implementation plans (infrastructure readiness, data flows, failover testing).
• Collaborate with DevOps, R&D, and Solution Architects to align product capabilities with deployment requirements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, proactively resolve issues, and ensure milestones are met.
• Facilitate system handovers to customer IT teams and lead onboarding/training as needed.
• Identify post-deployment support needs and opportunities for add-on services.
