Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to drive mission-critical cloud and IT deployments for public safety nationwide. You will oversee projects from kickoff to go-live, coordinating engineering, product, and implementation teams with customers and partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing global technical projects, preferably in B2B SaaS/IT/cloud services.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through cloud or hybrid deployments.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure).
• Ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud-based platforms, including configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement scalable, secure IT solutions for public safety.
• Create/manage project and technical implementation plans (infrastructure readiness, data flows, failover testing).
• Coordinate with DevOps, R&D, and Solution Architects to align capabilities with deployment requirements.
• Manage expectations across stakeholders, resolve issues, and ensure milestones are met.
• Facilitate system handovers to customer IT teams and lead onboarding/training.
• Identify post-deployment support needs and opportunities for add-on services.
