Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical cloud and IT deployments for public safety agencies nationwide. You will drive projects from kickoff to go-live, coordinating engineering, product, implementation teams and customers to ensure timely, secure solutions that meet stringent requirements.

The role requires strong cloud/IT infrastructure knowledge, PMP/CAPM certification, and the ability to manage global programs with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Certified PMP or CAPM required.
• 5+ years managing global technical projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional cloud/hybrid deployments.
• Strong IT infrastructure and cloud networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud-based platforms, including configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement scalable, secure IT solutions for public safety.
• Create/manage project and technical implementation plans (infrastructure readiness, data flows, failover testing).
• Coordinate with DevOps, R&D, and Solution Architects to align product capabilities with deployment requirements.
• Manage expectations across stakeholders, resolve issues proactively, and ensure milestone delivery.
• Facilitate system handovers to customer IT teams and lead onboarding/training where required.
• Identify post-deployment support needs and optimization opportunities for add-on services.
