Job summary
Impulse Space is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to own the reliability of core infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will lead complex deployments, drive automation, and ensure security and compliance while mentoring junior staff.
The role requires Windows Server and Linux administration, VMware virtualization, and strong scripting/IaC skills. Junction between operations and engineering offers growth in a hybrid datacenter setup.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise infrastructure administration experience.
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Experience with virtualization in production settings.
- Scripting and Infrastructure as Code for automation.
- Strong troubleshooting across multi-system environments.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operation and reliability of infrastructure platforms.
- Lead lifecycle upgrades, migrations, and modernization.
- Develop automation to reduce manual work and improve workflows.
- Act as primary escalation point for incidents and perform RCA.
- Maintain security baselines and regulatory alignment.
