Job summary

IPX Power USA, LLC in Houston seeks a leader for Technical Operations to guide complex engineering projects in renewables. You will drive performance optimization of solar PV and battery storage, using data analytics and automation to monitor and improve assets at scale.

Responsibilities include PV yield assessment, loss modeling, KPI development, and monitoring system implementation with Python-based analysis and PVsyst/PlantPredict tools. Occasional travel and telecommuting may occur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
• Five years progressive experience in solar energy operations.
• Experience leading technical teams on utility-scale solar projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering projects in renewables with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee PV system performance benchmarking and data analytics.
• Manage SCADA, DAS, and monitoring integrations and testing.
• Direct repowering and retrofit initiatives for solar plants.
