Entergy in Texas-The Woodlands is seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical leadership across engineering, procurement and construction for solar PV, BESS, and uprates, translating requirements into executable plans and coordinating internal and external partners to ensure safety, reliability, schedule, budget and quality.

Senior Lead Engineer level with 8+ years in power generation; responsibilities include leading design reviews, coordinating EPC contractors and Owner's Engineers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 8+ years in power generation with increasing responsibility.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating EPC contractors.

Responsabilités

• Lead with safety and compliance; enforce regulatory requirements and Entergy guidelines.
• Develop and control technical specifications, engineering packages, and project design documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align requirements and execution.
• Provide technical oversight of EPC contractors, OEMs, Owner’s Engineers, and consultants.
• Monitor schedule/cost/quality; identify risks and implement engineering solutions.
• Conduct site visits and constructability reviews; support commissioning/startup activities.
• Develop scopes, estimates, schedules, and risk assessments during development and planning.
• Integrate new renewables with existing generation systems including grid interconnection.
