Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with engineering and software development.
• 5+ years hands-on cloud development in GCP with Angular and Java.
• 4+ years recruiting, managing, and retaining a high-performing team of software development professionals in an agile environment
• 1+ year using generative AI as an integrated component in software solutions

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership: design and oversee build-out and operations of distributed systems at scale.
• Engineering leadership: direct, support, and evaluate the value of solutions for scalability.
• System performance: monitor and optimize team and system performance with KPIs/OKRs.
• Talent management: recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team.
• End-to-end ownership: lead a team from strategy through delivery on complex projects.
• Prioritization and pivots: guide prioritization aligned with strategic objectives.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with engineering, platform, design, security teams.
• Coalition building: establish relationships with partners and customers.
• Risk management: identify, communicate, and mitigate risks; report progress to stakeholders.
• Staying current: keep up with trends, AI tech to drive innovation.
