Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead our technical team and drive development of innovative solutions. You will provide technical oversight, guide engineering strategy, and ensure scalable, high-performing systems.
You will recruit, mentor, and retain top engineers, establish KPIs/OKRs, and collaborate across engineering, design, security, and platform teams to deliver value and transform health technology at scale.
Qualifications
- 8+ years IT experience with engineering and software development.
- 5+ years cloud development in GCP; Angular and Java experience.
- 4+ years recruiting, managing, and retaining software teams in Agile.
- 1+ year using generative AI in software solutions.
- Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Technical oversight: design and operate complex distributed systems at scale.
- Engineering leadership: direct and evaluate value and scalability of solutions.
- System performance: monitor KPIs/OKRs and improve processes.
- Talent management: recruit, mentor, and retain engineers.
- End-to-end ownership: lead strategy through delivery on key projects.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work with platform, design and security teams.
