Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in management.
Proven track record as both people manager and senior technical contributor.
Strong leadership and communication skills with cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the development team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
Guide architecture, solution design, coding standards, and delivery discipline.
Perform hands-on development on high-priority, complex solutions.
Set goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Promote accountability for delivery, quality, estimates, and status tracking.
Partner with the Business Analyst to clarify requirements and priorities.
Guide estimation, work decomposition, and resourcing with the team.
Monitor timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure coding standards, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance.
Establish engineering practices, peer/design reviews, and release readiness.
Conduct design/code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Mentor developers in solution design and professional growth.
Define UAT criteria and support testing readiness.
Advocate thorough documentation and maintain standards.
Foster continuous learning and development within the team.
Contribute to technology strategy and assess emerging tech.
Address performance or workload issues and maintain team health.
Clarify role boundaries between developers and analysts.
