Job summary

Good People Recruitment partners with a leading women’s apparel company to hire a Senior Technical Designer for its woven sportswear line (tailoring, dresses, wovens). You will be the technical link between design and production, ensuring fit, correct construction, and factory readiness.

• 7+ years in technical design for women’s sportswear.
• Strong fit, specs, and patterns knowledge.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Guide styles from first sample to pre-production fit approval.
• Create full tech packs and graded specs, and use patterns to fix fit, shape, and silhouette.
• Lead live fittings and send clear, timely fit comments to factory partners.
• Give vendors grading direction after approval and check that fit stays consistent across sizes.
• Partner with design, product development, and production to hit the calendar, and own the development WIP tracker.
