24 Seven Talent in New York is seeking a detail-oriented Woven and Knits Top and Bottoms Technical Designer for a 60-day freelance assignment onsite in Midtown Manhattan. You will support the development of woven and knit tops and bottoms, ensuring fit, construction, measurements, and technical specifications align with brand standards and production requirements.

The role involves creating specs, leading fittings, and collaborating with Design, Product Development, and vendors to resolve issues

Qualifications

Experience in technical design for woven and knit tops and bottoms.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, measurements, and production processes.
Proficiency with technical specs, fit comments, and documentation.
Ability to lead fittings and communicate feedback clearly in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain development specifications and technical packages for woven and knit tops and bottoms.
Develop garment measurements, construction details, grading requirements, and fit standards.
Conduct garment fittings and document clear, accurate fit comments for internal teams and vendors.
Partner with Design, Product Development, Production, and vendors to resolve fit, construction, and quality issues.
Review samples throughout the development process and ensure revisions are reflected in technical documentation.
Support timely approvals and communicate priorities to meet development and production deadlines.
