Premier Brands Group Holdings, a global leader in apparel design, is seeking a Technical Designer to independently manage the technical design process for women's apparel from development through production approval.
In this on-site New York role you will lead live fittings, create tech packs, coordinate with overseas factories, and mentor junior teammates while ensuring fit, construction and calendar deadlines.
Competenze
- 5+ years of technical design experience in apparel.
- Strong independent fit assessment and construction knowledge.
- Experience leading fittings and creating tech packages.
- Proficiency with PLM, Illustrator, Excel, and related systems.
- Familiarity with CLO 3D or Browzwear is a plus.
Mansioni
- Lead live fittings and evaluate fit, proportion, and construction.
- Own fit comments and tech direction for sample revisions.
- Create and maintain tech packs, specs, grading, and construction standards.
- Manage fit approval for styles and escalate issues.
- Review development and preproduction samples for consistency.
- Communicate with overseas factories to resolve fit issues.
- Partner with Design and Production on decisions and deadlines.
- Maintain fit history and technical documentation in PLM.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
