Job summary

EY seeks a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution of engineering teams building EY’s Agentic AI platform. You will own delivery cadence, challenge estimates, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across multiple programs.

You will work with senior engineers, orchestrate sprints, manage dependencies, and report honest delivery status with evidence. A strong technical background and credible communications are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical delivery or Scrum/PM roles leading software teams.
• Hands-on software/platform engineer background or equivalent technical depth.
• Ability to evaluate engineering estimates, break down work, and challenge them with evidence.
• Proven experience running Scrum or Kanban for multi‑team engineering programs.
• Knowledge of cloud-native tech: Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, distributed systems, API design.
• Experience with Jira/Git workflows and delivery metrics.
• Evidence of delivering on timelines while maintaining trust and engagement.
• Ability to communicate status, risks, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders with clarity.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery cadence: run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive progress against commitments; surface slippage and unblock work promptly.
• Hold engineers to deliverables and timelines with explicit done definitions.
• Interrogate estimates, test sizing, and challenge padding with evidence.
• Break down architecture and platform requirements into sized, deliverable stories.
• Own sprint and release planning across phased platform builds and gates.
• Coordinate cross-discipline dependencies between platform, infra, data, and security.
• Manage delivery risk, dependencies, and critical path with transparent trade-offs.
• Report delivery status with velocity, throughput, cycle time, and defects.
• Protect team focus by absorbing interruptions and competing demands.
• Partner with engineering leads and architects on sequencing and technical direction.
