Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution across engineering teams building EY’s Agentic AI platform. You will own delivery cadence, interrogate estimates, and ensure commitments are met with credible, evidence-based decisions.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in technical delivery, a strong cloud-native background (Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC), and a proven ability to navigate multi-team programs while communicating status clearly to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years in technical delivery, engineering project or program management with delivery accountability.
• A technical background as a software or platform engineer or equivalent depth.
• Ability to evaluate estimates, decompose work, and challenge them with evidence.
• Experience running Scrum or Kanban for teams of engineers with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience delivering complex multi-team programs with cross-team dependencies.
• Fluent in cloud-native engineering: Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, distributed systems, API design.
• Experience with Jira or similar tooling and Git-based workflows.
• Proven ability to communicate delivery status and risks to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery cadence: stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Track in-flight work to completion; surface slippage promptly and unblock blockers.
• Hold engineers to explicit definitions of done and dated commitments.
• Interrogate estimates, test sizing, and challenge padding with evidence.
• Break down architecture and platform requirements into deliverable stories.
• Coordinate phased platform build with entry/exit gates and risk management.
• Manage cross-discipline dependencies across platform, infra, data, and security.
• Own risk, issues, and trade-offs with executive visibility and candor.
• Protect team focus from interruptions and competing stakeholder demands.
• Collaborate with engineering leads on sequencing, staffing, and technical direction.
