Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution of engineering teams for the Agentic AI platform. You will own sprint cadence, track progress, and ensure commitments are met with real, evidence-based delivery judgments.

You will interrogate estimates, manage cross-discipline dependencies, and influence senior stakeholders while maintaining a calm, delivery-focused leadership style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 7+ years in technical delivery, engineering project or program management.
• Hands-on experience as a software/platform engineer or equivalent depth.
• Ability to evaluate estimates and challenge them with evidence.
• Proven track record running Scrum or Kanban for teams of experienced engineers.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-team programs with hard cross-team dependencies.
• Working fluency with Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, and API design.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery cadence across multiple development programs.
• Track in-flight items and surface slippage in real time.
• Hold engineers to deliverables and timelines with clear definitions of done.
• Interrogate estimates, challenge padding, and hold to architectural guidance.
• Translate architecture intent into properly sized, independent stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Plan sprints and releases across phased platform builds and defend entry/exit gates.
• Coordinate cross-discipline hand-offs and dependencies.
• Maintain a live risk/critical-path view and drive mitigation to closure.
• Report delivery status with evidence including velocity and cycle time.
• Protect the team’s focus by absorbing interruptions and competing demands.
• Collaborate with engineering leads on sequencing and technical direction.
