Job summary

EY seeks a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution of the engineering teams building EY’s Agentic AI platform. You own delivery cadence across programs, run Scrum ceremonies, and ensure commitments translate into working software with measurable progress.

You’ll interrogate estimates, challenge scope, and partner with architects to sequence work across Kubernetes, CI/CD, and data pipelines, balancing risk, speed, and quality in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or demonstrably equivalent depth.
• 7+ years in technical delivery, engineering project or program management, or Scrum Master roles supporting software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery cadence: run daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across the engineering teams.
• Drive progress against commitments: track in-flight items to completion and surface slippage.
• Hold engineers accountable to deliverables and timelines with explicit definitions of done and dated commitments.
• Interrogate estimates and challenge padding: test sizing and risk, separate genuine risk from buffering.
• Break down ambiguous work into properly sized, independently deliverable stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own sprint and release planning across the phased platform build to ensure usable capability.
• Manage cross-discipline dependencies and coordinate hand-offs across platforms and infra.
