Job summary

Cadence is seeking an experienced engineer to join the HSV Engagement/Support Team in California. You will collaborate with customers, field AE teams and R&D to provide technical support for Palladium, Protium and Virtual Protocol products.

You will tackle performance tuning, debugging, training, and escalation handling, while developing fixes and test cases. Occasional travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires an MS-EE/CE with 8+ years of experience in design and/or verification of complex digital designs.
• Strong knowledge of design debug techniques and logic design.
• Expertise in verification methodologies for complex EDA environments.
• Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog and VHDL; ability to create test cases quickly.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting (ksh/bash/csh/perl) and UVM is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cadence Palladium/Protium emulation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and field teams to provide technical support for PDAPP products.
• Tune performance, debug issues, and develop workarounds or fixes.
• Train customers in deploying advanced features and test R&D fixes/patches.
• Handle escalations and communicate clearly with internal teams and customers.
• Test product features for future releases and update training materials.
• Travel up to 10% to resolve critical customer issues.
