Job summary

ServiceNow seeks a Principal Technical Consultant, Expert Services to act as the functional and technical expert on customer engagements, configuring the ServiceNow Platform and delivering platform solutions for federal clients.

You will lead design workshops, develop integration components (SSO, LDAP), draft user stories and acceptance criteria, mentor teammates, and drive delivery excellence across complex programs in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
• 8+ years hands-on technical experience in complex enterprise environments
• Strong working knowledge of LDAP, SSO/SAML, VPN, SSL, network architecture
• Experience with web technologies: XML, HTML, JavaScript, web services, APIs
• Familiarity with data management, database design, and enterprise data governance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for senior government stakeholders
• Experience integrating AI-driven tools or workflows into delivery processes or solution design
• Direct ServiceNow experience or willingness to certify within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver platform solutions with long-term architecture and standards
• Lead design workshops across ServiceNow products
• Draft technically-focused user stories and acceptance criteria
• Mentor and train customer system administrators
• Lead technical aspects of project delivery and oversee partner resources
• Develop integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.) with multiple systems
• Prepare customer-facing deliverables focused on technology quality
• Support sales activities as required
