An established industry player is seeking a Senior Technical Claims Specialist to join their Complex Construction unit. This remote role involves investigating complex Commercial Casualty claims, determining coverage, and negotiating settlements. Liberty Mutual has an immediate opening for a Senior Technical Claims Specialist to join our Complex Construction unit (BI and PD, non-Construction Defect). The Senior Technical Claims Specialist determines coverage, investigates highly complex Commercial Casualty claims, determines liability, sets and adjusts reserves, evaluates the claim, negotiates a settlement, authorizes and resolves the claim. The Senior Technical Claims Specialist also demonstrates a high level of expertise and sound judgment in complex matters, and may serve as a subject matter expert.
*We are open to fill this position as a Senior Technical Claims Specialist I or II, depending on experience. The salary range is inclusive of both levels, and salary may vary based on candidate location.
*This is a 100% remote position, but does require going into one of the following GRS Claims Offices at least twice a month if you reside within a 50 mile radius: Bala Cynwyd, PA; Boston, MA; Hoffman Estates, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Lake Oswego, OR; Las Vegas, NV; Plano, TX; Suwanee, GA; Syracuse, NY; Tampa, FL; or Weatogue, CT.
