Job Description

Proactively seeks out strategic business opportunities with business unit leaders from one or more business areas. Provides advice, assistance, and leadership in areas related to planning, procurement, delivery, management, and effective use of information systems across multiple business areas. Analyzes business processes, elicits and documents requirements, identifies solutions, and makes recommendations to leverage technology. Translates business needs into functional requirements, manages change, and leads testing and validation of solutions. Performs technical analysis in partnership with delivery teams to evaluate and execute business requests.

Responsibilities

• Understand specific business processes and drivers, identify needs and opportunities for process improvements through technology, and investigate existing system capabilities.
• Develop and lead information management strategies aligned with business strategies, including implementing significant change programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Evaluate emerging business needs and technology solutions, providing strategic insights to high-level business leaders.
• Develop, review, or lead creation of IT strategies supporting multiple business areas, ensuring alignment and compliance.
• Conduct training on new BTS solutions and advise on process improvements, including BPM practices.
• Build and maintain business relationships, coordinate activities across teams, and manage client and partner communications.
• Manage vendor relationships, project scope, and resources, including risk management and technical delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of analysts, project managers, and other team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience; Master's with 6+ years; PhD with 2+ years.
• Problem-solving approach with latitude and independence.
• Experience with large enterprise IT systems, preferably within the life sciences industry.
• Experience with Document Management, Learning Management, or Product Labeling systems is preferred.
