Job summary

Lightspeed Studios is seeking a Senior Technical Artist to lead technical solutions for the art team and drive high-end visuals across platforms. You will collaborate with Art, Engineering, and Production to ensure assets meet performance targets while maintaining artistic quality.

The role requires deep knowledge of the content pipeline, Unreal Engine expertise, and strong problem-solving abilities. A background in real-time rendering and PBR techniques is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the content creation pipeline (modeling, texturing, lighting, shading).
• Proven experience as a Technical Artist on shipped AAA titles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead and implement technical solutions for the art team.
• Collaborate with different teams to manage in-house and outsourced assets.
• Drive development of state-of-the-art visuals that complement game design.
• Prototype and author graphics features requiring high technical expertise.
• Develop content creation workflows to boost efficiency and quality.
• Support Art/Engineering/Production to meet dependencies and requirements.
• Assist the Art team in debugging tools and game issues.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage.
