LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS is seeking a Technical Artist to spearhead technical solutions for the art team, mentor juniors, and collaborate across Art, Engineering and Production. You will drive state-of-the-art visuals and prototypes for graphics features that elevate game design.

The role requires deep knowledge of Unreal Engine, material creation, Blueprints, and a strong background in 3D art with control over performance and memory usage.

Qualifications

• Expertise in art content creation pipelines including modeling, texturing, shading, lighting and FX.
• Proven experience as Technical Artist on shipped AAA titles.
• Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine, material creation and Blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead and implement technical solutions for the art team, mentoring junior Technical Artists.
• Collaborate with teams to manage in-house and outsourced assets.
• Drive state-of-the-art visuals that support game design.
• Prototype graphics features requiring high technical expertise.
• Develop content creation workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Work with Art, Engineering, and Production to meet dependencies.
• Support debugging tools and game-related issues.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage.
