Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Sr. Technical Analyst to support Child Support modernization efforts, delivering technical analyses, design inputs, and risk mitigation across complex programs. The role emphasizes independent work, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to project scope and schedules.

The position requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with data mapping, testing, and reporting. Hybrid work model in the San Diego area is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7–10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in technical analysis, systems implementation, QA, or PMO support on large modernization projects.
Strong understanding of Child Support program objectives and federal requirements.
Ability to communicate with stakeholders and work independently.
Experience with data conversion, ETL, and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate technical analysis and delivery across one or more modernization engagements.
Develop, review, and maintain technical and project documentation (requirements, interfaces, data mappings, design inputs).
Attend and lead client meetings, track progress, and escalate issues as needed.
Support governance, status reporting, and risk management with project teams.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and Maximus standards.
