Amentum is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Advisor to join our component engineering group supporting our DoW programs. You will partner with project leads to ensure program success, mentor junior engineers, and drive analysis of non-standard parts and test data.

You will lead Parts, Materials, and Processes reviews, collaborate with test teams, and communicate complex technical issues to customers and stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 35+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with IEEE parts; MIL-STD and other industry standards for component parts.
• Ability to write technical reports and communicate ideas to customers and colleagues.
• Active US Government Top Secret clearance required.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and respond to Non-Standard Part Approval Requests for electrical components.
• Lead Program Parts, Materials, and Processes Control Board discussions to assess non-standard parts survivability.
• Mentor junior engineers in evaluating components based on qualification and test data.
• Collaborate with environmental and radiation test teams for component characterization and testing.
• Review test data and reports for customers; provide strategic, proactive technical guidance.
• Participate in technical reviews and planning to meet organizational objectives.
