Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support DoW programs, focusing on component parts, planning, testing, and analysis. You will work with project leads to ensure program success and mentor junior engineers.

Daily duties include analyzing Non-Standard Part Approval Requests, leading review boards for part survivability, and collaborating with test teams to characterize components and review data for customers. Strong communication to customers and program offices required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with IEEE parts, MIL-STD and other industry standards.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of and response to Non-Standard Part Approval Requests.
• Lead reviews of Parts, Materials, and Processes for part survivability.
• Mentor junior engineers in evaluating components from data.
