Job summary

SGS seeks a technically credible account manager who can build long-term customer relationships and actively create new business opportunities in the electronics, semiconductor, and test & measurement sectors. You will discuss PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and related technologies with engineering customers, translating needs into testing and engineering services.

Experience in the Silicon Valley ecosystem and ability to travel within the Bay Area are important assets for success.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in technical sales or related customer-facing roles in electronics/semiconductor.
• Proven ability to manage and grow technical accounts with engineering stakeholders.
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB/USB4, HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet).

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow technical customer accounts, including engineering stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Travel to customer sites in the Bay Area and beyond as required.
• Engage with engineering teams to discuss technologies and correlate with test/measurement services.
