Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager for Cloud Compute to help enterprise customers accelerate adoption of Core Compute, Edge Compute, and Partner solutions.

You will serve as the primary technical advisor, align workloads with business goals, and drive value through strategic plans and ongoing engagements. You will collaborate with product, engineering, support, and services teams while guiding customers on AI inferencing opportunities and scalable cloud

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Cloud Computing, Infrastructure, DevOps, TACM, Solutions Architecture, or Customer Success in a customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, hosting, networking, and modern compute environments.
• Experience advising on cloud adoption, workload optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI inferencing, generative AI, or agentic AI use cases and architectures.
• Ability to translate business objectives into practical cloud and AI adoption strategies.
• Proven success building trusted relationships with stakeholders from executives to technical teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated technical advisor for customers leveraging Akamai Core Compute, Edge Compute, and Qualified Compute Partner solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer environments, objectives, architectures, and workloads.
• Create and execute customer success plans to drive adoption, retention, and business value.
• Advise on cloud compute strategies, workload placement, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Guide customers on AI inferencing opportunities and align infrastructure with business outcomes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, support, and services teams to resolve challenges.
• Drive customer success through regular reviews, consultations, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain operational excellence by tracking Net and Gross Retention, NPS, health, and cloud growth.
