Job summary

Akamai Cloud Solutions seeks a Senior Technical Account Manager- Cloud Compute to help enterprise customers accelerate adoption of Core Compute, Edge Compute, and Qualified Compute Partner solutions. You will translate business objectives into cloud and AI strategies and serve as a trusted technical advisor.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and professional services to drive adoption, retention, and value, manage success metrics, and guide customers on AI inferencing opportunities

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Cloud Compute, Infrastructure or Customer Success roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructures, workloads, and AI topics.
• Ability to translate business goals into practical cloud/AI adoption plans.
• Proven track record of building trusted executive-level relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated technical advisor for customers using Akamai Core/Edge Compute and Partner solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer environments and workload requirements.
• Create and drive customer success plans to increase adoption, retention and value.
• Advise on cloud compute strategies, workload placement, and performance optimization.
• Guide customers on AI inferencing opportunities and agentic AI architectures.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, support, and services to advocate for customers.
• Lead business reviews and proactive engagements to improve cloud consumption growth.
