Job summary

Avaya is seeking a Senior Technical Account Engineer to lead as the senior technical advisor for a key BAE Systems AP2 environment in Northern Virginia. You will own complex issues, orchestrate governance, mentor two engineers, and drive resolution across Avaya platforms, SIP, call flows, network, and CPE.

This role requires TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph, US work authorization, and experience in enterprise telecom/network environments; hands-on leadership and customer-facing communication are

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in systems engineering, communications engineering, network engineering, technical support, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

Own high-priority and complex technical escalations from initial assessment through resolution.
Coordinate Engineering, Product, Support, and other Avaya resources as required.
Drive root-cause analysis and corrective action.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with customer stakeholders throughout an escalation.
Identify recurring issues and proactively address technical risks before they become major customer-impacting events.
