Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcer I for an 8-month fixed-term assignment at our Long Beach, CA headquarters. On-site role with no remote option, reporting to the People & Culture team.

The position focuses on strategic sourcing for technical and engineering roles, building pipelines and engaging passive candidates. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of dedicated sourcing experience, deep familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced search techniques, and a track record

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time experience as a dedicated Talent Acquisition Sourcer.
• Experience sourcing for technical and niche engineering roles.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, Indeed, and other platforms.
• Experience with ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday Recruiting.
• Proven track record building pipelines for passive candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for technical roles using advanced tools.
• Own search strategy development and initial candidate assessments.
• Engage passive candidates through creative outreach and referrals.
• Build and maintain pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
• Provide market intelligence and compensation benchmarks.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to calibrate search efforts.
• Champion diversity sourcing and candidate experience.
• Contribute to recruitment marketing and talent communities.
• Track and report key sourcing metrics and optimize processes.
