Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcer II or Senior Sourcer for a 6-month fixed-term, on-site engagement. You will lead strategic sourcing for technical roles, develop search strategies, and build pipelines of active and passive candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time experience as a dedicated Talent Acquisition Sourcer in aerospace/defense/tech or high-growth industries.
• Proven expertise sourcing for technical and niche engineering roles.
• Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms.
• Experience with ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday Recruiting, or similar.
• Track record building pipelines for passive candidates through creative sourcing and engagement campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for technical roles using advanced tools and techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, Indeed, niche platforms).
• Own search strategy development, proactive outreach campaigns, and initial candidate assessments.
• Engage passive candidates through creative outreach and relationship building, promoting Rocket Lab’s employer brand.
• Build and maintain robust pipelines for hard-to-fill roles aligned with future hiring needs.
• Conduct high-level candidate screening and interviews to assess skills, motivations, and cultural fit.
• Provide market intelligence and talent mapping to inform hiring strategies.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to define candidate personas and calibrate search efforts.
• Champion diversity sourcing strategies and ensure a strong candidate experience.
