Job summary

The City of New York seeks a Tech Support Scheduler for the Financial Information Services Agency, Office of Payroll Administration, reporting to the HR/Payroll Tech Support Supervisor. You will run batch job streams, verify job conditions, and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve issues.

This role requires deep knowledge of CA Workload Automation DE (dSeries), IBM mainframe, z/OS, JCL, and related tools. NYC location near Madison Square Garden.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in datacenter/IT infrastructure operations or equivalent.
• Experience with mainframe scheduling tools and batch processing.

Responsibilities

• Run batch job streams and verify job condition codes.
• Interact with support groups to resolve issues.
• Document changes to the master schedule for technicians.
• Coordinate event scheduling and planning meetings.
• Understand interaction between IBM mainframe, Unix, and PeopleSoft servers.
