Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Senior Repair Technician in Ankeny, IA leads repairs and service coaching for agents, ensuring top-tier customer experiences in-store. You’ll train and mentor staff to diagnose and repair devices while upholding Geek Squad standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of diagnosing and repairing PCs or consumer electronics.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience, including coaching, training and recognition.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Geek Squad leaders with assigning staff to customer service, device diagnosis, repair, service and follow-up.
• Communicate department goals and other important information to team members in a clear, accurate and timely manner.
• Work directly with customers to ensure they receive the service they need and to resolve escalated customer service issues.
• Provide coaching to agents to develop their customer service and technology repair skills.
• Provide ongoing collaboration and answer questions for team members and other store employees to achieve goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
