Job summary

Salas O'Brien is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to support engineering and architecture talent on a remote basis. You will recruit engineers, architects, and technical professionals for data centers, healthcare facilities, laboratories, and related infrastructure—across multiple offices in North America.

You’ll partner with the Talent Acquisition team to manage full lifecycle recruiting, build proactive pipelines, and engage passive candidates using diverse sourcing methods.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of recruiting experience in AEC/engineering/technical fields.
• Sourcing and hiring passive, hard-to-find professionals across multiple disciplines.
• Fluent in French and English is required.
• Translate business needs into focused search strategies for technical roles.
• Proactive talent pipelines with strong candidate assessment and offer-closing skills.
• Knowledge of credentials like P.Eng, ing, PL, EIT, RA, Arch, LEED, CxA, etc.
• Familiarity with ATS and recruitment tools including LinkedIn Recruiter.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and hiring managers to plan searches across architecture, engineering, and related disciplines.
• Manage full recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, offers, and acceptance.
• Develop and prioritize talent pipelines ahead of hiring demand, focusing on hard-to-fill roles and geographies.
• Present diverse, qualified slate recommendations with market context.
• Maintain timely records in the applicant tracking system and provide candidate experience excellence.
