Job summary

Gusto is seeking a Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for core functions and partner with hiring partners to meet growth goals. You’ll build strong relationships with managers, design targeted recruiting plans, and ensure a positive candidate experience across the process.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting, experience in high-growth tech, and comfort with AI tools and data-driven hiring.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a high-growth tech environment.
• Demonstrated success in req-based recruiting, with a focus on mid- to senior-level hiring.
• Strong track record of influencing and coaching hiring PEs through the entire recruiting lifecycle.
• Proficient with Greenhouse, Gem, Slack, LinkedIn Recruiter, and G-Suite; Demonstrated experience using AI and talent intelligence tools.
• Growth mindset toward AI adoption and ability to integrate new tools into recruiting workflows.
• Committed to inclusive hiring practices, with experience building representative pipelines and fostering belonging.
• Comfortable using funnel metrics and data to inform hiring strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for roles at Gusto, with a focus on req-based hiring and strategic alignment to business needs.
• Partner closely with Hiring PEs to understand org goals and develop customized hiring plans that drive results.
• Build deep, consultative relationships with hiring managers, navigating complex or evolving hiring environments with clarity and confidence.
• Develop tailored strategies to attract, engage, and close exceptional talent through representative sourcing and outreach channels to help build belonging at Gusto.
• Provide a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience throughout the entire process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Compensation, People Partners, and Executive Operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Contribute to and improve recruiting processes that enable the Invite team to scale efficiently.
• Proactively challenge the status quo, offering creative ideas to elevate the craft of recruiting at Gusto.
