Job summary

Gusto, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter passionate about discovering top talent and driving company growth in San Francisco. You will own full-cycle recruiting, partner with hiring partners, and build a strong candidate pipeline while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

You’ll collaborate across Compensation, People Partners, and ExecOps to tailor hiring plans, drive efficiency, and fosterbelonging in a fast-paced, evolving environment at Gusto.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a high-growth tech environment.
• Proven experience with modern recruiting tech and ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Gem) and collaboration tools (Slack, LinkedIn Recruiter, G-Suite).
• Strong ability to use funnel metrics and data to inform hiring strategy and drive efficiency.
• Successful track record coaching hiring partners and influencing hiring decisions.
• Growth mindset toward AI adoption and integrating new tools into recruiting workflows responsibly.
• Commitment to inclusive hiring practices and building representative pipelines to foster belonging.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for roles at Gusto, with a focus on req-based hiring and strategic alignment to business needs.
• Partner closely with Hiring PEs to understand org goals and develop customized hiring plans that drive results.
• Build deep, consultative relationships with hiring managers, navigating complex or evolving hiring environments with clarity and confidence.
• Develop tailored strategies to attract, engage, and close exceptional talent through representative sourcing channels to build belonging at Gusto.
• Provide a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience throughout the entire process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Compensation, People Partners, and Executive Operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Contribute to and improve recruiting processes that enable the Invite team to scale efficiently.
• Proactively challenge the status quo, offering creative ideas to elevate the craft of recruiting at Gusto.
