• Partner with founders and hiring managers to understand business needs and technical roadmap.
• Turn context into a clear talent profile and sourcing plan.
• Build talent maps and sourcing strategies for competitive searches.
• Find and engage exceptional candidates, including passive and non-obvious fits.
• Assess candidates beyond titles and pedigree to identify true potential.
• Develop deep understanding of candidates’ motivations and what makes opportunities compelling.
• Represent the company credibly to sophisticated techn candidates and explain the technical problems and impact.
• Own candidate strategy from initial outreach through close.
• Design interview processes that balance signal with efficiency.
• Push on weak assumptions and refine profiles and processes as needed.
• Gather market feedback to improve recruiting approaches and scale the function.
