Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Technical, in Bothell, WA to own the payment technology product from vision to delivery. You will partner with business and technology teams to craft a clear roadmap, manage backlogs, and lead cross-functional efforts to resolve customer experience challenges through scalable payment solutions.

The role requires deep knowledge of payments, networks, and backend integration, plus strong communication with executives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT/engineering or related field with 5+ years in product/technical roles.
• Experience delivering payment or telecom software solutions is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payment networks and compliance workflows.
• Ability to translate business needs into BRD, PFR and technical specs.
• Proficient with modeling tools and backend integration practices.
• Hands-on with Java/Spring stack and data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own payment technology product end-to-end including vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Serve as primary intake contact for DevOps technology teams.
• Manage product backlog and priorities with business and tech partners.
• Lead backlog grooming sessions with key resources and stakeholders.
• Define customer-focused solutions addressing technical and policy gaps.
• Articulate initiative scope, benefits, and ROI to leadership.
• Coordinate releases with business and technology teams.
• Develop payment acceptance instructions and align domains on vision.
• Communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, incl. execs.
• Plan capacity and work scheduling; telecommuting allowed with on-site days.
