Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Technical Operations Engineer in Redmond to shape customer experience and product strategy for Starlink. You will analyze key metrics, drive cross-functional improvements, and own automation projects to enhance broadband services globally.

Ideal candidates bring engineering training, 4+ years in tech ops/PM, and strong data skills in Python/SQL. Role requires onsite work in Redmond with relocation and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of professional experience in venture capital, management consulting, or operations/product management at a technology company.

Responsibilities

• Understand and monitor core user metrics like Net Promoter Score, Customer Contact Ratio, Cancellation Ratio, and CSAT.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to triage, prioritize, and fix root causes of poor user experience across networks, UI/UX, support, billing, and more; feed back loops to prevent problems.
• Fix, delete, automate, or create new processes for fixing structural and emerging issues.
• Serve as product manager/project owner for feature launches and software automation projects.
