Job summary

Humana seeks a Senior Technology Leadership professional to join IT Operations, supporting Application Operations Center and Enterprise Post Production Validation. You will drive automation, innovation and continuous improvement across onshore and offshore resources, enhancing monitoring, validation, and control processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of engineering, systems engineering or similar technical roles
• 5+ years of technical expertise in monitoring tools (Dynatrace, ThousandEyes, Splunk)
• 5+ years of experience in Java and Python
• Hands-on automation, scripting and workflow orchestration
• Experience with intelligent automation tools (RPA, Azure AI, Claude code, GitHub Copilot)
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools for productivity and accuracy
• Strong communication across varying levels of personnel
• Experience with unit testing and mocking
• Passion for contributing to consumer experience improvements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead to provide operational and strategic support for Application Operations Center and Post Production Validation teams
• Identify, evaluate and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload
• Deploy advanced tools and methodologies for application operations and validation
• Develop documentation for SOPs and best practices
• Oversee daily application support and monitoring to ensure stability and reliability
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams for task execution
• Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs and present findings to leadership
• Ensure automation complies with standards and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate knowledge sharing, training and change management
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate progress on automation initiatives
• Create and maintain testing strategies aligned with Humana's Quality Enablement and Test Strategy guidelines
