Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience/training (Highschool diploma or equivalent required).
• Experience working in sponsor finance or on leveraged loan transactions and analyzing corporate borrowers.
• PC proficient with emphasis in Word, Excel and Moody's; proficiency with nCino.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and structure complex credit requests across lower middle market and middle market venture capital, growth equity and private equity backed technology companies.
• Perform independent credit analysis and generate underwriting files from deal screening to final memorandums, including analysis of financial statements.
• Model income statement, balance sheet and cash flow over multiple years; perform downside and break-even projections with limited input; coordinate with CFOs.
• Prepare final approval documents via change memos and memos; assist in loan closings with internal stakeholders and loan operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations; complete bank training courses; stay informed on regulatory changes.
